The first step towards laser correction surgery is to schedule a free LASIK consultation with either Dr. Beers or Dr. Volpicelli. Please email one of our LASIK coordinators below or call us directly at 650-961-2585.

The free LASIK consultation will take 90 minutes. Initially, you will meet with Gigi or Jessica who will talk to you about the procedure and answer any questions you may have. They will take your medical history, check your visual acuity, check the pressure in your eyes to confirm there are no signs of glaucoma, and perform a topography which shows the surgeons a map of your cornea surface. You will then meet with either Dr. Beers or Dr. Volpicelli who will analyze your cornea, calculate your prescription and confirm that your eyes are healthy and that you are a good candidate for LASIK. All of these tests are quick and easy and do not require you to have your eyes dilated.

Following these tests, Dr. Beers and Dr. Volpicelli will discuss your laser vision correction alternatives with you.
